Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and beverage operations.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports on food and beverage operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
The Labrador Inn is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a hotel, motel, or resort setting, supervising a team of 5-10 staff members.
