Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

The Labrador Inn is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency.
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing key insights and recommendations to management.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that all food is presented to the highest standard.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
