About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, gain exposure across various actuarial disciplines, and develop expertise in predictive modeling using Python. As a key member of the team, you will analyze claim reserve levels, support quarterly reports, and maintain monitoring reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze claim reserve levels using standard actuarial techniques and sophisticated machine learning models
  • Support the Quarterly Reserve Committee and Year-end Valuation reports
  • Maintain monitoring reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide insights on the company's financial performance from a reserving perspective
  • Develop close relationships with company-wide partners and business stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency
Requirements
  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • Active pursuit of actuarial exams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with MS Excel, VBA, and technical knowledge of SAS, SQL, R, and Python
