Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Smitty's Family Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of 16-20 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient restaurant operations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment for staff and customers.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth restaurant operations and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; no degree, certificate, or diploma necessary.
  • Will train; prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check required.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is located in an urban area, with public transportation available. The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
