We are seeking a skilled Energy Advisor/Building Performance Technician to join our team in Halifax, NS. As a hybrid energy advisor and building performance technician, you will work with clients to create high-performance houses and buildings, promoting energy efficiency and sustainable long-term employment in the field of energy efficiency.
Our goal is to support and encourage our clients to transform the built environment in Atlantic Canada into one that is more energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective. You will be responsible for various tasks, including assisting with commercial building performance testing, site safety, building and plan takeoffs, computer skills, building science principles, identifying residential construction types, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, and residential energy modeling. This is a full-time job opportunity that includes dental care, Monday to Friday work hours, and remote work options.
