Job Summary

My Big Tow Inc is seeking a skilled Tow Truck Operator to join our team. As a Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for driving a tow truck as part of a two-person team or convoy, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tow truck and oversee the condition of the vehicle, including inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance on the tow truck.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience as a Tow Truck Operator is an asset.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees is a plus.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people is a plus.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
