Job Summary

My Big Tow Inc. is seeking a skilled Tow Truck Operator to join our team. As a Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for driving a tow truck as part of a two-person team or convoy, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections. You will also be responsible for receiving and relaying information to central dispatch, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Responsibilities

- Drive a tow truck as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption

Requirements

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work on site with no option to work remotely
