At My Big Tow Inc, we are seeking a skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tow truck as part of a two-person team or convoy, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections. You will also be responsible for receiving and relaying information to central dispatch, recording cargo information, and performing preventive maintenance. This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tow truck as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Perform preventive maintenance

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people

Working Conditions:

  • 35 hours of work per week
