Job Overview

This role reports directly to the Credit Manager and involves working collaboratively with internal departments, such as the sales team, to resolve customer disputes and negotiate payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be detail-oriented, with a solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) principles.

Responsibilities
  • Making outbound collection calls to past due balances to decrease outstanding receivables
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve customer disputes
  • Negotiating payments and recommending customers go to collections when necessary
  • Preparing and updating AR ageing reports and other relevant metrics
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable
  • ERP system knowledge is beneficial
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required
  • The ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail is essential
  • A strong understanding of AR principles is mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with internal teams and customers
  • The capacity to thrive in a high-volume dynamic environment
