Retail Store Leadership Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Leadership Manager to join our team at Lids. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and driving business growth in our store.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing Sales Performance: You will be responsible for generating sales gains by providing exceptional customer service and meeting or exceeding Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
- Controlling Expenses: You will protect Company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies and assist in preparation of store work schedules that provide proper store coverage and are within the Company guidelines for wage control.
- Supervising Associates: You will act as Store Manager on duty for any employee scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc., when Store Manager is not present, and manage store associates through thorough use of LIDS Training Programs, goal setting (for sales and tasks), and regular follow up.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience is required.
- Sales and Customer Service Experience: You must have established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss and strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
- Leadership and Management Skills: You must be able to operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs, and possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and work with hands overhead.
You will also be responsible for:
- Maintaining a Professional Appearance: You must maintain a professional appearance consistent with Company Dress Code Policy.
- Performing Administrative Tasks: You will perform proper documentation and record keeping per LIDS Retail policies as well as state and federal laws, and open and close the store as required following the procedures per the Operations P&P Manual.
