Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and functional limitations and strengths
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal functional outcomes
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and services
  • Participate in group exercise sessions and provide education on healthy lifestyle habits
  • Conduct research and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in kinesiology or a recognized equivalent
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in a related field
  • Experience working with oncology patients and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Current registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (COKO)
