About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Aide to join our team at Hope Wellness Centre Inc. as a Patient Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • Provide personal care including toileting, feeding, and transferring patients.
  • Assist with medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care.
  • Support patients with mobility issues by assisting with walking, transferring, and positioning.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to patient needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and activities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
