Restaurant Operations Manager

Carmel Restaurant is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and beverage offerings.
Key Responsibilities- Cash Handling and Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
- Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to maintain a safe and compliant environment for our customers and staff.
- Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Supply Chain Management: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the highest quality and best value for our restaurant.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner to maintain a positive reputation for our restaurant.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees to promote diversity and inclusion.
- Youth Employment: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment to promote opportunities for young people.
- Veterans: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans to promote recognition and appreciation for their service.
- Indigenous People: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people to promote reconciliation and inclusion.
- Visible Minorities: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities to promote diversity and inclusion.
