Job Summary

As a Director, Senior Commercial Markets, specialized in Agriculture, you will be aligned to our Senior Commercial Markets (SCM) client segment within Agriculture, defined as agricultural clients with annual sales revenue between $25MM and $100MM and/or authorized credit > $15MM. You will be responsible for new client acquisition, deepening and growing existing client relationships, portfolio management, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of large agricultural clients, taking responsibility for the overall relationship strategy within the client's RBC relationship team
  • Acquire and grow Senior Commercial Markets client relationships, collaborating with the client relationship team and bringing the full breadth of RBC to businesses, business owners and their employees
  • Work in close partnership and collaboration with CFS Finance to manage and support complex client credit needs, demonstrating strong credit acumen, as well as sound risk mitigation and portfolio oversight
  • Foster internal and external strategic partnerships and centres of influence (COIs) to meet the business' strategic goals while focusing on target market clients
  • Ensure clients are enabled to leverage digital solutions for themselves and their business

Requirements

  • University degree with strong financial analysis skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years' commercial banking experience specialized in Agriculture
  • Experience and comfort with emerging technology (e.g. video conferencing, social media, digital banking and mobile applications)
  • MBA and/or CFA considered an asset
