About the Role

Closing the Gap Healthcare is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Kitchener Waterloo region. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients in their homes and schools, providing integrated therapy services to improve their well-being and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop accurate therapy care plans based on clients' real environments
  • Develop health promotion programs, prescribe equipment and supplies, and promote client safety
  • Exert critical thinking to provide complex preventative or corrective actions for diverse clients
  • Partner with clients' family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding treatment goals and service plans

Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Occupational Therapy
  • Current active registration and good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Pediatric care experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
