About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Foreman/Forewoman to join our team at Earthscape Ontario. As a key member of our Property Maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional landscape maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day work activities of a landscape maintenance crew, providing onsite training and guidance as needed.
  • Plan labor requirements, equipment needs, and material deliveries to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in lawn and garden care, ensuring high-quality results for every client.
  • Maintain and enforce standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in ornamental horticulture and landscape maintenance, with a strong background in turf care, pruning, mulching, and seasonal annuals and perennials.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading a crew of lead hands and crew members to maintain award-winning residential landscapes.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and clients, with a passion for local plants, shrubs, and trees and their respective maintenance needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Minimum G Class license and a valid driver's license.
