Job Opportunity at Earthscape Ontario

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Crew Member to join our team at Earthscape Ontario. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing manual duties to maintain landscaped environments, including mowing, raking, weeding gardens, and pruning trees and shrubs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual duties to maintain landscaped environments, including mowing, raking, weeding gardens, and pruning trees and shrubs.
  • Operate a variety of mechanical lawn equipment, such as mowers, blowers, edgers, and clippers.
  • Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes to enhance our customer's properties.
  • Assist our landscape construction crews in the construction of hardscape areas, such as pavers, flagstone, natural stone, walls, steps, and drainage/utilities installation.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of progressive experience in ornamental horticulture and landscape maintenance.
  • Passion for local plants, shrubs, and trees and their respective maintenance needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
  • Comfortable operating lawn and garden machinery.
  • Minimum G Class license.
