About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Foreman/Forewoman to join our team at Earthscape Ontario. As a key member of our Property Maintenance department, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day work activities of our landscape maintenance crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work activities of the landscape maintenance crew
  • Provide on-site training to crew members in skills and methods of landscape maintenance
  • Plan labor requirements, equipment needs, and material deliveries to ensure timely completion of jobs
  • Maintain and enforce standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in ornamental horticulture and landscape maintenance
  • Experience in a broad range of landscaping maintenance site work, including pruning, mulching, turf care, and hard surface care
  • Ability to lead a crew of lead hands and crew members to maintain award-winning residential landscapes
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for local plants, shrubs, and trees and their respective maintenance needs
