Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training and Supervision: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are safe and hygienic.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
