Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at The Corner Office CFO. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing expert financial and accounting services to our clients, supporting their growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial record-keeping and analysis services using leading-edge accounting and financial management systems.
  • Prepare and remit regulatory government filings, including financial statements and reports.
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and conducting financial and variance analyses.
  • Prepare and issue financial statements and relevant reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead and/or review the work of junior accountants through delegation, training, oversight, and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of client deliverables.
  • Assist associates and senior associates with client projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education focused on accounting, such as a diploma or Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5+ years of accounting experience.
  • CPA designation or CPA candidate; definite asset.
  • Proficient in using cloud-based accounting software, such as QuickBooks Online.
  • Proficient in using and applying current and new technologies in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively prioritize work assignments for themselves and assigned team members.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, building and maintaining trusting client relationships.
