As a Registered Nurse in our Alcohol and Drug Treatment program, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide and implement nursing interventions to promote patient well-being.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Teach patients and their families about healthy coping mechanisms and substance abuse prevention strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in psychiatric nursing.
  • Maintain a commitment to professional growth and competency.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Experience in medical or psychiatric nursing (preferably with substance abuse specialty)
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in Massachusetts
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records
