Job Title: Process Improvement Intern - Engineering Support

About the Role:
Eaton Industries, a leading company in Airdrie, Alberta, is seeking an 8-month Process Improvement Intern for our Engineering Support team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in implementing Industry 4.0 technologies and deploying lean and process improvements within our facility.

About the Opportunity:
This intern will play a crucial role in driving cost savings and supporting project deployments. Key responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of I4.0 technologies such as IoT sensors, data analytics, and automation systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the deployment of lean and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve engineering challenges.
  • Conduct data analysis to track progress and measure the impact of improvements.
  • Contribute to cost-saving projects and support their successful execution.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).

What We Offer:
As a Process Improvement Intern at Eaton, you will gain practical experience in engineering support and process improvement, work in a collaborative and innovative team environment, and contribute to impactful projects that drive the company's success. We offer a competitive salary of CAD $60,000 - CAD $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Please note that relocation is not offered.
