The role of Human Resources Generalist at Sysco Canada Inc. is a pivotal position that requires a multifaceted approach to support the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement effective human resources programs and initiatives that align with the company's goals and strategies.
  • Provide expertise in employee relations, recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, and benefits administration.
  • Leverage HR knowledge and experience to identify best practices, improve processes, and enhance the overall HR function.
  • Support short-term and long-term disability processes, as well as annual performance management, goal setting, and tracking/reporting.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of HRIS data, ensuring compliance with Federal, Provincial, and Local laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration.
  • Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite, HRIS programs, recruitment platforms, and social media.
  • A HR designation is an asset.
