Job Summary

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating crushing equipment, performing manual clean-up, identifying maintenance issues, and assisting with equipment repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate fixed Jaw and Cone crushing equipment to ensure efficient production
  • Perform manual clean-up and identify maintenance issues to prevent downtime
  • Assist with equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain organization of plant work areas and material identification
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth operations
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 75 lb, lift objects overhead, and perform daily tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to learn through job training
  • Previous industrial experience, working with crushing equipment and heavy equipment operation is an asset
What We Offer
  • $30.50/h + benefits, holidays, and pension contributions
  • Starting with 2 weeks paid vacation + statutory holidays
  • Secure, full-time (40h/week), long-term employment with overtime available
  • Shifts are scheduled for 8.5h with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a paid morning and afternoon coffee break
  • Following successful completion of the probationary period, eligibility for a comprehensive medical, dental & vision care benefit package
  • Annual safety boot and rain gear allowance of $125 per year
  • Union membership with IUOE115 – contract in place until July 1, 2025
