Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Production Utility Worker to join our team at Heidelberg Materials. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating fixed Jaw and Cone crushing equipment, performing manual clean up, identifying maintenance issues, and assisting with equipment repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate fixed Jaw and Cone crushing equipment to support plant operations
  • Perform manual clean up and identify maintenance issues to ensure equipment is running efficiently
  • Assist with equipment repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Maintain organization of plant work areas and ensure a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working outdoors in year-round weather conditions
  • In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lb, and perform daily tasks such as shovelling and standing for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a valid driver's license
  • Capable of learning through job training and working independently
  • Previous industrial experience, working with crushing equipment and heavy equipment operation is an asset

What We Offer:

  • $30.50/hour + benefits, holidays, and pension contributions
  • Starting with 2 weeks paid vacation + statutory holidays
  • Secure, full-time (40h/week), long-term employment with overtime available
  • Shifts are scheduled for 8.5h with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a paid morning and afternoon coffee break
  • Following successful completion of the probationary period, eligibility for a comprehensive medical, dental & vision care benefit package
