About the Role

Vallen Distribution Inc. is a leading provider of flexible supply chain solutions, and we're seeking a highly motivated and organized Branch Manager Trainee to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide direction and oversight to internal staff, ensuring departments work effectively towards common goals.
  • Product Training and Development: Participate in and recommend product training to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Warehouse and Physical Plant Planning: Assist in planning and optimizing warehouse and physical plant operations.
  • Vendor Relations and Planning: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring smooth supply chain operations.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to future management planning, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop key relationships with customers, providing sales and technical support as needed.
  • Community Representation: Represent the Company in the local and industry community, fostering positive relationships.
Requirements
  • Education: College/University Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a Technical field (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
