Fenix Construction and Labour Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Wall and Floor Decor Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating stunning visual displays in various locations.

Job Description
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation (not applicable)
  • Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces
  • Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets
  • Install tile strips
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Align and straighten tiles
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base
  • Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel
  • Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with experience in tile setting and related tasks. A secondary school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field are necessary qualifications for this role.
