Job Summary

Interior Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Thoracic Surgery team in Kelowna, BC. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, education, consultation, research, administration, and professional practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate individuals with thoracic and respiratory diseases, as well as related co-morbid conditions.
  • Integrate knowledge and skill from nursing and medicine to provide advanced clinical practice, education, consultation, research, administration, and professional practice.
  • Collaborate with the Thoracic Surgeons and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical programs and services.
  • Contribute to the education and training of healthcare professionals.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).
  • Experience in thoracic surgery or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
