About the RoleAs a Medical Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to patient well-being and better health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
- Perform, interpret, and release results while maintaining patient confidentiality
- Identify incidents and non-conformities, participate in corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement
- Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
- Participate in problem-solving and workflow optimization
- College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent education and/or experience
- CMLTO registration
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Problem-solving skills and ability to maintain safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality standards
