LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to join our Chemistry and Hematology team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

About the Role

As a Medical Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to patient well-being and better health outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
  • Perform, interpret, and release results while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Identify incidents and non-conformities, participate in corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
  • Participate in problem-solving and workflow optimization
Requirements
  • College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent education and/or experience
  • CMLTO registration
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to maintain safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality standards
