The Island Health Department of Medical Imaging seeks a skilled Radiologist for full-time positions at North Island hospitals, Comox Valley and Campbell River. These facilities offer comprehensive imaging services, including general x-ray, MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, and interventional procedures within a fully functional PACS environment.

Eligible candidates must hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Radiology and full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. The position includes various diagnostic imaging procedures, such as CT, MRI, US, DR, and breast imaging.

Benefits may be available under the Rural Subsidy agreement (RSA), including:

  • Recruitment Incentive: up to $10,000
  • Relocation: up to $15,000
  • Fee Premium 6.93%
  • Annual Flat Fee $10,052
  • CME payments of $5,500 after 4 years
