We are seeking an exceptional Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Department of Community Services. As a key member of our office, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating electronic calendars, arranging meetings, and preparing agendas and minutes. You will also be responsible for reviewing and distributing incoming mail, responding to inquiries from the public, and assisting with the hiring process.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have a keen eye for detail.
Primary Accountabilities- Coordinate electronic calendars and arrange meetings
- Prepare agendas and minutes for meetings
- Review and distribute incoming mail
- Respond to inquiries from the public
- Assist with the hiring process
You will have a minimum of three years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent communication skills.
