Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team at Stewart & Bain Professional Corporation. As a Law Clerk, you will assist our lawyers with various tasks related to real estate transactions, including document preparation, research, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities
  • Assist lawyers with document preparation, including contracts, deeds, and other legal documents
  • Conduct research on real estate law and regulations
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Assist with screening and interviewing candidates for real estate positions
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on changes in real estate law and regulations
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
