Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team at Stewart & Bain Professional Corporation. As a Law Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our real estate lawyers in various aspects of real estate transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist lawyers in preparing and reviewing documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, deeds, and mortgages.
  • Conduct research and provide accurate and timely information to support lawyers in their work.
  • Organize and maintain files, both physical and digital, to ensure efficient access to relevant documents.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of real estate laws and regulations to provide informed support to lawyers.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
