Job Description

At Circle K Convenience Store and Gas Station, we are seeking a highly motivated Retail Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role

This is a key position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for managing a team of sales workers, establishing work schedules, and resolving any issues that may arise. Your goal will be to maintain high standards of customer service, while also driving sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any disputes or issues that may arise.
  • Establish work schedules and manage employee attendance and punctuality.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is always up-to-date and accurately priced.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage cash handling and banking responsibilities, including preparing and submitting deposit slips.
  • Oversee payroll administration, ensuring that all employees are paid correctly and on time.
  • Prepare, package, and restock goods, maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-7 months of experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
