Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve build issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Design, implement, and maintain pipelines and workflow tools to streamline automation processes.
  • Develop and maintain application code to enhance various tools and systems.
  • Work with team members to maintain and enhance automation pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
  • Monitor automation systems, respond to support requests, and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Manage virtual infrastructure, including deploying and monitoring containers, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Analyze metrics to optimize automation systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine their feasibility and desirability for incorporation into our systems.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in DevOps, with a focus on cloud deployments, container technologies, and infrastructure automation tools.
  • Foundational programming skills, with expertise in languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with source-control administration, configuration management, and continuous integration/deployment.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP, and container orchestration tools, like Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools, such as CloudWatch, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • System administration skills, with experience in Linux or macOS environments.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities, as well as lead and delegate to team members.
  • Active interest in the DevOps movement and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Bonus Requirements:
  • Experience with secrets management tools, such as Hashicorp Vault.
  • Experience with artifact management tools, such as JFrog Artifactory.
  • Experience with container orchestration and microservice management tools.

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually, depending on location, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation time, sick leave, and parental leave. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
