Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve build issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Design, implement, and maintain pipelines and workflow tools to streamline our development and deployment processes.
  • Develop and maintain application code to enhance various tools and systems within our infrastructure.
  • Work closely with team members to maintain and enhance our automation pipeline, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of new features.
  • Monitor automation systems and respond to support requests and outages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage virtual infrastructure, including deploying and monitoring containers, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Analyze metrics to optimize automation systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine their feasibility and desirability for incorporation into our company's products.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in DevOps and a solid understanding of cloud deployments, container technologies, and infrastructure automation tools.
  • Foundational programming skills and experience with source-control administration, configuration management, and continuous integration/deployment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members, both in-person and online.
  • Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities, lead and delegate to team members, and identify setbacks and shortcomings.
  • Active interest in the DevOps movement and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
Bonus Requirements:
  • Experience with secrets management tools, artifact management tools, and container orchestration and microservice management tools.

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually, depending on location, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation time, sick leave, paid parental leave, and extended health/dental/vision coverage. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
