Exciting Opportunity for Field Engineering Students

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Field Engineering Student to join our Conventional team at our St. Albert field location. As a Field Engineering Student, you will have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience in oil and gas field operations, working alongside industry-leading professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Obtain baseline engineering experience and exposure in a wide variety of tasks while working with multidisciplinary teams and industry programs.
  2. Develop skills in organizational reliability to identify opportunities to improve existing systems and reduce overall operating costs.
  3. Perform optimization on light oil and heavy oil wells utilizing design programs and engineering principals to increase production.
  4. Provide technical support for data analysis and the preparation of various reports.
  5. Participate in field visits to perform facility audits, collect field data and participate in field-driven projects.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an engineering degree program. Chemical, Mechanical, Energy, and Petroleum/Oil & Gas disciplines preferred.
  • Previous experience operating in Oil & Gas preferred.
  • Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or equivalent out-of-province license.
  • Motivated, takes initiative, collaborative, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities.
