Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $44,720 based on an hourly wage of $21.21 with a premium of $1.00 per hour for night shifts.

Job Description

Supervising VIP Room Hosts

As a VIP Host Supervisor at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited, you will be responsible for supervising a team of VIP Room Hosts to ensure outstanding customer service is provided at all times.

You will provide instruction and direction as needed, coordinate break times, and monitor compliance with policies and procedures.

Coaching and Mentoring

You will coach and mentor VIP Room Hosts to ensure they are competent in their functions and provide guidance on how to deliver exceptional customer service.

Leadership and Teamwork

You will serve as a dynamic and energetic leader, fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation, and open communication among your team members.

Maintaining Guest Relationships

You will maintain thorough knowledge of our valued VIP guests and develop relationships with players and player group representatives.

Ongoing Development

You will stay up-to-date with products, events, promotions, and general information relating to the VIP Rooms, general gaming floor, and the property.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of customer service/hospitality industry experience
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Experience working with VIP guests is an asset
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential and action-sensitive issues with discretion
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Foreign language skills are an asset (preference for Asian languages)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
