Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced culinary professional to join our team as a Culinary Operations Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a positive work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cooking and Kitchen Management: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods; inspect kitchens and food service areas; maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment; clean kitchen and work areas; manage kitchen operations.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food; provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
- Support Services: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
- Language: English.
