Rehabilitation Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Medicine Hat College. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to provide support to adults with physical disabilities in their homes and community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with activities of daily living and implement individualized programs in clients' homes and community sites.
- Work under the direction of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to maximize clients' functional ability and independence.
- Manage a caseload and plan appointments around the community, utilizing strong communication and time management skills.
- Collaborate with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for clients.
- Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program and one year of recent related experience.
- Valid Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.
- Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A competitive hourly rate of $24.57.
- A permanent full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.
