About the Role:
Care Plus Physiotherapy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interview patients to obtain comprehensive case histories, ensuring accurate and detailed information is recorded.
- Schedule and confirm appointments in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and complete insurance and other claim forms with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system, ensuring easy access to patient records and confidential information.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory levels, ensuring a smooth operation of our medical office.
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines, promoting efficiency and productivity.
- Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, preparing spreadsheets and documents for review.
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
