Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson to join our team at the CNRL Horizon site in Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining instrumentation systems, working with DCS systems and control hierarchy, and utilizing knowledge of various instrument manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain instrumentation systems, including tubing and DCS systems.
  • Work with control hierarchy, including Delta V, AMS, and control studio.
  • Utilize knowledge of instrument manufacturers, including Rosemount, VEGA, Krohne, Flowserve, Metso, Fisher, and Yokogawa.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency with electronic dead weight testers, process meters, Ralston pumps, and TREX/475 field communicators.
Requirements:
  • Valid Journeyperson certification as an Instrumentation Technician or equivalent.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Physical aptitude to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and working at heights.
