Job Title: Construction Specialist

About the Role:

  • At McInroy Basements Inc., we are seeking a skilled Construction Specialist to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, particularly in load, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • The successful candidate will also have knowledge of equipment and machinery, including bobcats, reciprocating saws, and circular saws.
  • This is a permanent position with 35 to 50 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload and transport construction materials.
  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets.
  • Operate equipment and machinery such as bobcats, reciprocating saws and circular saws.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in construction trades.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in confined spaces.
  • Availability for the advertised start date.
