Electrical Power Systems Specialist

At Spark Power Corp, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Systems Specialist to join our team in Belleville. As a trusted partner in energy, we offer a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects and make a meaningful impact in the industry.
We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual who can handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution systems and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations follow applicable client standards and trade practices.
Key Responsibilities- Install and Maintain Electrical Equipment: The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical equipment and apparatus in generator unit stations, sub-stations, collector stations, and/or powerhouses.
- Read and Interpret Drawings: The candidate will read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and manufacturer specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
- Test Installed Electrical Equipment: The successful candidate will inspect and test installed electrical equipment and apparatus to locate electrical faults and check their operation.
- Maintain Safety Standards: The candidate will adhere to all company and client health and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Journeyman Electrician and Industry-Related Safety Certification: The successful candidate must have a Journeyman Electrician certification and industry-related safety certification.
- PSE Designation: PSE designation is considered an asset.
- Experience in Industrial Electrical Construction and Maintenance: The candidate should have experience in industrial electrical construction and maintenance.
- Excellent Organizational Skills: The successful candidate must have exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and written.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 based on industry standards and location. Additionally, Spark Power Corp offers a competitive benefits package including excellent wages, commission, and bonus structure, as well as flexible options and wellness spending accounts.
