We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Great Bear Construction Group Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship in our residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
- Build and Install Structural Elements: You will build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet the highest standards of construction.
- Fabricate and Install Finishing Elements: You will fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the finishing touches on our projects.
- Maintain and Repair Structures: You will maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
- Education and Experience: You must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 3 years of experience in the field.
- Work Setting: You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often outdoors, and must be able to lift heavy materials and tools.
- Language and Communication: You must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills to work effectively with our team and clients.

- Permanent Full-Time Position: This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular 40-hour workweek.
