Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Scheduling and co-ordinating work on sites
  • Supervising other workers
  • Estimating costs and materials

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a noisy and dusty environment, with a focus on construction, renovation, and industrial projects.
