Prepress Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Prepress Technician to join our team at Planet Press Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of printed materials.
Key Responsibilities- Prepress Operations: Operate computerized equipment to prepare film, laser or dylux proofs for quality control purposes or for customers' review.
- Colour Separations: Make colour separations and corrections from colour copy or transparencies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate, monitor, maintain, calibrate and test equipment.
- Page Layout Design: Plan page layouts and electronically alter shape, size and positions of illustrations and text.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Equipment Knowledge: Experience with plate processors, scanners, and step and repeat machines.
Our work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. As a Prepress Technician, you will be working in a commercial or in-house printing setting, with a willingness to relocate for this position.
