About the Role

Fives Solios inc. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement project schedules and milestones
    • Monitor progress and identify potential delays or issues
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Establish and implement quality control policies and procedures
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Site Operations and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors and site staff
    • Ensure that all site activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit regular project reports to management
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and site staff
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. construction management, engineering)
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management or a related field
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Professional Engineer Certification (P. Eng.)
    • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
    • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
    • Excellent communication and project management skills
