Job Title: Construction Site Superintendent

Fives Solios inc. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure that all construction work meets the required standards.
  • Monitor progress and report to management on a regular basis.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, safety, and environmental management.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure that construction work is carried out according to plan.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial construction sector.
  • Professional Engineer Certification (P. Eng.) and Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors, staff, and management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
